Of those who use the "ignore" feature, the great majority enjoy it. Nobody has found it not to their liking.

Yeah, it doesn't hurt anything at all. For those who think it does something to interfere with discussion, that's just not so.
I ignore many posters who reply to my posts and always have. I simply choose to place a few on "ignore" to cut down on the static while reading.
