A good bud whose land I deer hunt on(and a major amateur Olympic and NCAA wrestling fan) posts on TheMat.com as "The Whammer". He puts a signature line on his posts of quotes from LDS General Authorities.

Boy are some of the LDS Posters mad at him over it. Quoting Spencer W. Kimball about how lamanite children are turning 'white and delightsome'. Quoting Brigham and Joseph and others has some of the LDS wrestling posters calling for him to meet them for fights even.

He has posted accurate information from what I can see as every time I checked out his posts they were accurate, accurately quoted and factual. Like Joseph Smith having a pistol at Carthage Jail and shooting three/killing two in the shootout before he was himself killed. Really had some LDS posters railing on him and 'joseph never had a gun' and 'he died like Jesus' stuff.

Anyhow, if you want some laughs take a look at the site and forums where he has posted and see some of the reactions to a simple 'signature' quoting GA's. I bet he doesn't put up some of Joseph Fieldings and Ezra Tafts communism and the negro/darkies are nice people stuff, but I can't tell. He does have a perverse sense of humor. He's the one that got me on this site and it has been fun. I mainly post when I visit him, up here deer hunting on his and the neighbors land the last while a well as goose hunting earlier on the ponds and lakes nearby.

Go and take a look and see just how mad some can be when he posts "no returned Mormon missionary will win an NCAA wrestling Championship". Hard to believe how rabid some get over such a simple statement.(and to date, none have)

I know he doesn't post on the site any longer but I do enjoy it. Didn't know there was that much information on LDS or folks associated with it that could actually think for themselves. Nice to see it. Now how do 'the brethren' stop it?

Of course. It's not like the church hides this stuff. It's freely available. And if they don't research this stuff on their own, they will face the wrath of Juliann.

Of the men shot (Wills, Voras/Voorhees, Gallaher, and the potential unnamed gentlemen who was going to give an alibi [according to Coronal Hay’s dilly]), it was my understanding that Wills took off (I doubt he was the one to die, as he was only shot in the arm), and Gallaher (shot in the face) and Voras/Voorhees (shot in the shoulder) received new suits from the peeps in Green Plains prior to taking off to avoid the Bills of indictment that had been written for them (was it normal to write Bills of indictment for dead people?).

Am I wrong, or do we have a case of Weekend at Bernie’s?
