I chuckled, but not because of the anus thing. Ok, a little bit because of that. But mainly I chuckled over the numerology part of it.
I was quite friendly with my BYU math professor (Lynn Garner), from whom I took a couple of calculus classes, back in the day, and he told me he received lots of mail from people who used numerology for all kinds of stuff, like proving that they were supposed to be the next prophet and whatnot, and they wanted him, as a BYU math professor, to review their numerology work and testify to its correctness.
It's just funny when everyone knows the guy who uses numerology to prove he's the One Mighty and Strong is a crank, but the guy who uses the orbit of Uranus to demonstrate the truthfulness of Jesus Christ is on to something. That's why I chuckled.

Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

For those who aren't up-to-date on the "Uranus Testifies of Christ" and its author John Pratt, I suggest you pull up a chair and spend some time here.

Add to this the fact that 8 years old is the exact age that kids get baptised is more proof that uranus testifies of Christ.
