Can a moderator look through the current posts to remove off topic exchanges if any are determined (by a mod) to be off topic?

I've been keeping an eye on it. I might later take a few out such as this one, yours and possibly a few others which add little to the topic, but essentially the thread is on topic. If anyone disagrees they can email me, or post a complaint in the thread.
