Oh? What's the difference? Do expound, please.

Trying to explain things of the Spirit here opens one to a barrage of ridicule from the local idiot brigade. Why bother?

Courage, my friend. Courage is "why bother."

But then, it doesn't matter all that much, in the long run.

Does it?

The Gospel of John records a tradition that two of the Twelve--Andrew and (probably) Philip--were disciples of John the Baptist before they followed Jesus (see John 1:35-40). So at least two of the original Twelve were baptized by John.

"The Book of Mormon does not describe the baptisms done in the Old World. I am not surprised by this."

We know how the Book of Mormon peoples were baptized. Arnold Friburg(sp?) painted it and we know he is Gods painter of Truth.

As for Baptism of Jesus Apostles. How can they receive the authority before being baptized and how can they baptize each other without authority? Kind of like Joseph Fielding trying to convince some that Joseph Smith had 'innate priesthood' that enabled him to see God and Jesus since no one without the Priesthood is supposed to be able to see them.

For a God of Order, the same yesterday, today and forever he sure does have some changing rules, procedures and ordinances, doesn't he?

Paul had something interesting to say about it in Acts 19:

Acts 19:3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism.

4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

So who Baptized Paul?

For an ordinance so basic and so important, why is there no record anywhere of the Chosen Leadership of Jesus receiving it?

Acts 22:12 And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there,

13 Came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him.

14 And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.

15 For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.

16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

So who baptized Ananias?
