Well, the intellectual Vezzini thought his name was Inconceivable. But everyone else didn't think he understood what the word meant.

But in reality, in spite of the legends and myths, I think it's a work in progress.

Isn't that why the doctrine constantly changes?

Inc, I hope I didn't offend you there, I don't think that your experiences should be made light of, and did not intend for that joke to come across that way, if it did.

What I think is most interesting about your story is that it appears that your desire to want peace, and to heal, and to see and understand things is very strong.

I see those as very positive qualities, but think that sometimes those qualities can be taken advantage of, as part of a "trick," or the use of guile, even.

I thought this was the point you were driving toward.

I recently became familiar with the word "organic". I use to think only about health foods as that was usally what you were talking about when using the word. I don't think any religion relies building on something, polishing, tearing part down, rebuilding it, storing, adding on again like the Mormon religion. You have to see it, read it, and understand it - after you stop going to church for a few years - to see.

We could all use a little more levity. That's why I used the pirate example.

Have any of you had similar experiences as mine?

I already answered the question above. See my post.

Jason,

Is this what you are referring to?:

I have had what I believe are spiritual manifestations from God, yes. But perhaps not as direct as what you are describing.

I was actually anticipating/hoping you or someone who had been involved with priesthood administration to add their impressions of their experiences.
