I know all the other quotes about the father (and even Jesus) forgiving sins. Regardless, McConkie was the good guy just like Spencer Kimball. He didn't need big forgiveness.

I still don't think he was much of an embarrassment. He didn't spend his life focussed on attempting to justify deplorable behavior (like the typical apologist).

Wait a second. Pardon my curiosity, but what does this mean? Did DCP engage in inappropriate interrogation of some females or something?

Telling members of the church not to pray to Jesus Christ is a little different than hating Jesus Christ... don'cha think?

I challenge this idiotic claim that Bruce R. McConkie ever had a negative word to say in regards to the Savior.

Gadiantons on a smear campaign and I call him out as a liar.

The biggest embarrassment to Mormonism is Warren Jefffs and the FLDS, hands down. The most embarrassing part of Mormonism is its polygamous history, and the mainstream church has spent the past 100 years trying to put polygamy behind them. The FLDS refuse to let that part of Mormonism die. The FLDS are also keeping the Brighamite racism alive too.

Some of the weird opinions by guys like BRM and other apostles and prophets are embarrassing to modern day apologists and internet Mormons, but they aren't really an embarrassment to the church because nobody outside of the apologists and internet Mormons and some anti-mormons know about them.

There is no such thing as imbarrasment. Lol. I am not imbarrased by anything anyone in the church has done and why should they be? I bet they aren't imbarrased and the church literally is inanimate so it can't be imbarrased.
