Just an observation.

Post by _JonasS »

I was in a friend's lecture on Tuesday. I was curious and wanted to see what Nursing lectures were like. I was expecting a lecture of something relating to biology. However I saw no such thing. The students were asking rediculous questions and the answers were there in front of them. Common sense. I wasn't a student nurse and I hadn't been on the placements they had been on, however I was perfectly capable of seeing the answers to their questions. And they were dumb questions. I found this a bit peculiar. By the end of the lecture I had come to the conclusion that there was a reason for this behaviour among Student Nurses as a whole because in fact this was not the only group of nurses that asked dumb questions. The reason was that the lecturers treat them as though they were stupid. The lecturers were giving them far more information than was necesary. For example, we were provided a handout on how to work ebridge. Which is fair enough, however one does not need a description under an image saying that the image is telling the user that they entered and invalid password. The image in itself tells the user that. They do not need such a thing explained to them. A tutorial on how to log into your account which is exaclty the same as how you do it on the old system only simpler is by far unnecesary. And the questions from the students at this point were even more unnecesary. Such as "is that the same as before? Yes! So which password do you use? The same as previously! Is that the password we use to log into the system.... DUUUUUR

My point is that when people are treated and become accustomed to a particular regime as such, they don't see what's right in front of them beyond those parameters. They take on the role of I'm so helpless, I don't understand. When actually is so blatently obvious. But then the lecturers are sucked into it to and the cycle continues. The worst thing is when people ask the exact same questions over and over trying to get a different answer. It doesn't matter how you word the question, the answer is still the same.

The reason I begun thinking about this is that when I look through this forum, occasionally I feel like screaming my head off at the stupidity of some of the topics. Some are just so unnecesary. Some don't have answers, some have obvious answers, some are none of our business, some are completely irrelevent and many are repeated.

You mean, like the one at viewtopic.php?f=5&t=9211 ?

Some are just so unnecesary.

When you say "completely irrelevant," do you mean like the one at viewtopic.php?f=5&t=9211 ?
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"
