There is an ongoing thread at MADB started by Consiglieri who has posted a heartfelt thread regarding his wife's difficulties with church. Specifically, she doesn't like going. Consiglieri honestly admits that he doesn't particularly enjoy attending either. While some posters are sympathetic, many are taking Consiglieri to task. Even DCP chimes in suggesting that the problem may lie in Mrs. Consiglieri's lack of active participation.

I can sympathize. I often don't like church meetings either because they are staid. But it is my/our responsibility to liven them up or make them meaningful to me/us.

Consig lost a lot of points with me though when he said in another thread, If I recall correctly, "Screw the manual".
