DCP Calls for a Boycott of MDB

Good Evening Everyone,

I'm taking a break from my stimulating journey throughout the Middle East on an arachaeological jaunt, to comment on this thread.

I find it positively bizarre that Dr. Peterson feels he has contributed to this forum in any other manner than that of a heady provocateur. His contribution mostly consisted of jibs and jabs and dismissives numbering in the thousands. Perhaps when he muses that this forum is an interesting exercise in psychological it's his own profile he's examining?

This isn't the first thread he's been in over there about this board, is it?

It seems like he can leave it, but he can't leave it alone.

His contention, on a separate thread, is that he was here to do damage control. A lot of his misbehavior (e.g., smearing Mike Quinn, dissembling about getting paid to do apologetics, dismissing Jews' concerns about proxy baptisms) was criticized and hashed out on this board. Thus, he showed up in order to launch verbal assaults on critics, threaten legal action, and so on and so forth. Basically, it was all about him worrying that he'd actually be held accountable for his crappy behavior. Of course, according to LDS doctrine, he'll have to answer for this stuff in the next life (unless he repents and apologizes). Apparently, being held accountable in *this* life is, for him, even scarier in terms of the repercussions.

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure. He says that this "substantial" material "flourishes" here, though, which can't help but make you wonder. Also: remember that DCP fled for a time following the threat---there was a thread titled "Leaving with a Gun to my head," or something along those lines (If I recall correctly).

The day DCP actually examines his own behavior with the same criticism as he reserves for everyone else's (or any criticism at all, for that matter) is the day pigs sprout wings and take off into the wild blue yonder. DCP is about as mindful of himself as a chunk of roadkill is.

Many long time members of this board will remember it when DCP did threaten to kill scratch.

Sure DCP may feel the threat was lighthearted, but I called him on it and asked if it would be appropriate for such threats.
