You're probably right, zeez. And in fact, I think I'm actually going to give this a go.
From the Ernest L. Wilkinson Diaries: "ELW dreams he's spattered w/ grease. Hundreds steal his greasy pants."
I'm not sure if this is a blessing or a curse. Does anyone here like being called upon to say the prayer in any public setting? I have met people who can pray for an hour if you let them. But usually they did this on purpose so that next time you remembered not to ask them to say the prayer again.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

That reminds me of what I like to call "prayer talks." You can sometimes tell when someone wishes they could give a talk when they start telling stories and giving challenges to the congregation during the prayer. LOL

The LDS leadership is wary of praying to HM so that is why they persist in the male dominant thing. Sorry. Maybe you could convince TSM to include a prayer to HM at the October conference?
Yeah, but what if you don't believe in "Heavenly Mother", zee? And what if you don't really know why you don't believe in a HM?
Maybe you need to go over those lessons with me again?

she doesn't mind if you don't believe in her. She still listens. :)
I should create my own missionary lessons!

Of course, with Heavenly Mother sitting right there, does Heavenly Father really want to be second guessed on how he answers those prayers? Better to just let her handle it.
