What have you read, Marg?

Don't be evasive. Don't obfuscate. Don't try to change the subject.

What have you read?

Furnish some examples.

What have you read?

Have you read the Book of Mormon through yet?

Well, nah, I'm going to evade, and change the subject. I'm now going out..to watch Super 8. ...I hope it's better than that penguin movie.

I'm not surprised.

Here, then, is my working hypothesis, which I believe is very likely to be true:

You have read nothing, or essentially nothing, written by serious, scholarly Mormon "apologists" or even by serious Mormon scholars, and you haven't ever read the Book of Mormon through.

So what?

I have not read the Koran, nor do I need to to know it is just as made up as the Book of Mormon.

Billions of people do not need to read the Book of Mormon to know it is BS.

I treasure your views on the Qur’an every bit as much as I value your opinion of the Book of Mormon.

Thank you for that extremely important exposition of your stance.

Honestly do you love reading the Book of Mormon? I get bored out of my mind when I read it. Do you really find something new everytime you read it? I hear people say this and I don't understand it. Sure there are things that you forget like every book but the basic message is not hard to remember. I would think someone of your education would get pretty bored reading that book over and over and over again.

I do. Yes.

Very often, yes.

In fact, my column this coming Thursday will mention a small example of that, from several years ago.
