Kody Brown seeking polygamy laws declared unconstitutional

His primary legal argument is that Lawrence v. Texas (recent case declaring sodomy laws unconstitutional) overruled Reynolds v. U.S.

I suspect that the homosexuals will try to divorce their cause from his (that is strongly implied in the article). This is unfortunate since I think both parties are in a very similar situation.

On a personal level, I hope Kody and his family win the lawsuit. I saw the episode of Sister Wives where he and his family moved from Lehi to Las Vegas and it was heart wrenching (yeah, yeah, I know the producers edit to make it look that way, but still). He should be allowed to live with his wives and children in peace. Who knows, maybe he will pave the way for the Church to be more accepting of these relationships.
