My mother would fit the Sister Cleo mold, at least for our family. I love my mom and she was/is all I could ask for in a mom, but she does have her eccentricities. Through out her life she has seen spirits, received confirmation through prayer (lots of prayer) on future events or choices that involved her family, made dire predictions for most the members of my family regarding the consequences of specific actions and so on. My father is convinced of what she says even though it would be easy to go back and show him how many of her "impressions" never panned out or were flat out wrong. At the temple she seems to be especially open to the "thinning of the veil" and constantly talks about spirits she has seen there. these experiences seem to increase as she gets older.
