I listened in but missed most of the first part. I was impressed to know Michael was not the renegade I supposed. I am a cultural bohemian as never having read any of his work. He should not feel slighted. I don't read anybody's anything for the most part.

I was impressed further that he gained a wonderful access to so much research. Too, I was not impressed with his lack of spiritual depth. I mean, he cannot fathom blood atonement? Well.... nobody can understand it who have not received the gift and power of the Holy Ghost and understand what cannot be renewed. BA should not be considered by the unwashed. It just does not apply to anyone else and nobody of the uncircumcised of heart will know what's up. Mormons thought they qualified when they had no business to think so. Still don't and this is getting worse by the day.

He believes in a Mother in Heaven. If that is a wife to Heavenly Father I am twice over disappointed. Given his extensive exposure to all that great LDS minds have thought this means none of them advanced even slightly. How sad.

A validated history has the power to force what will be accepted or even considered. So the trust and responsibility is enormous.
Every apostasy has a corrupt reading of what was once true.
I like Michael Quinn better having heard him. A lasting impression.



I am glad he keeps a good faith alive. He would be sunk utterly the second he let it go.

I caught the last hour or so, interesting stuff. I can't wait for his financial history of the church to come out.
