A strong current in Mopologetic-related academia suggests that the MI may be without a research paradigm. If the LGT is dead as a research paradigm, then what is guiding the MI now? Does the MI have a center of gravity or a central dogma? There have been suggestions based on the twenty-first and twenty-second editions of the Review that the institute has taken a postmodern turn of sorts or at least, has become far more interested in the unfalsifiable, literary aspects of the book rather than stronger claims regarding its archeology.
My poll outlines the strongest contenders. Open to suggestions, here.

Re: A new research paradigm for the MI?
I decided to vote for Moby Dick. I think that Melville's classic novel, when regarded as a "research paradigm," is the ideal analogue for what the apologists do/are doing. This, after all, is a literary tale that is simultaneously about the ceaseless quest for an elusive foe, and a story of megalomanical revenge, and that pretty much sums up what the Mopologists are all about.
