Blixa, Stak, Trevor, Honor and other thoughtful, substantive posters have largely gone missing, it seems. Our signal to noise ratio is way off kilter. I'm doing my share to improve the situation by posting as infrequently as possible, but for a real fix, we need the return of our best lost posters. If they don't come back soon, I'll lose interest in reading the board and be reduced to chewing gum for something to do.

Great video. Wilco at Red Butte Gardens in the summer of 2008, best concert I have ever attended.

Last week I attended my fourth Wilco concert. It was at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and I went with another poster on this board who also loves Wilco. It was loads of fun! Next time, we'll have to make an MDB road trip of it!
The new album is very nice. My sig line song is from it, and one of my favorite tracks.

PS. For Schmo: I agree. I'd love to see those folks return, too.
PSS. For Asbestosman: Good grief, I love that cat!

Hey yeah. I just now noticed that. What happened? Any warning?
Oh, and yes you should start posting more KA.

If you guys would come to chat you would know what happened to a couple people this week. [/shameless plug for chat]

As you know, some huge crap happened to me too. I am using this frivolous activity to distract myself.

What in the world is expected? This is a board set aside to discuss Mormonism. The wacky folks who left, the wacky folks who are contemplating leaving or feel trapped and are afraid to leave, the very wacky "I've never been LDS, can't stand 'em and yet still have tons to say about 'em", the wacky NOMs (whatever that means), and us wacky TBMs. I dare say, I don't think any non-wackies could possibly post here, at least post here and have anything of value to say to anyone else.
Its troubling enough to see people consider some people wacky and not realize how wacky they are, but in a weird way that IS this place.
Love ya tons, Stem
I ain't nuttin'. don't get all worked up on account of me.

(((hugs))) I didn't mean to imply people had crap hit the fan or anything. People just get busy. Sometimes not posting at all prevents getting sucked in to the cray cray.

In the face of madness, rationality has no power - Xiao Wang, US historiographer, 2287 AD.
Every record...falsified, every book rewritten...every statue...has been renamed or torn down, every date...altered...the process is continuing...minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Ideology is always right.
