He doesn't even go to church . !
This is not true at all. I do go to church but not to all three meetings. And I have supported two children on their missions. And I have been a member for 37 years. My advice to quark was good and to the point.
I intend to lay a foundation that will revolutionize the whole world. Joseph Smith We are “to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow, to dry up the tear of the orphan, to comfort the afflicted, whether in this church, or in any other, or in no church at all…” Joseph Smith

I honestly didn't think you did go to church anymore.
How many years did you go to all three meetings? Have you even had a calling (and I don't mean those silly ones just to give someone a calling). I mean like being in the bishopric, Elders quorum presidency, ward mission leader, you know those type of callings.
Just because you support 2 children on their missions doesn't mean you know the church culture or it's people that well. From what I see you post that is clear to me.
All members know what you do with light cotton is a sin and needs to be confessed to the bishop.
Have you visitied the NOM message board yet? This is an entire group specifically devoted to just the kind of lifestyle that you're proposing.
Also, it seems that prolds comments are not welcome there. If so, it would not be a good place for quark to hang out on. What he needs is positive love and not a constant barrage of negatives about the LDS church. He needs a different mind frame to draw from.

Excuse me?
Balls are the most sensitive body part known to the human race. Accidentally nudge them the wrong way and you're done for. Now the vagina is tough. We should say, "Grow a vagina already!" that thing takes a beating.
Anyway, you haven't seen all that my wife has done for me. Granted, I haven't divulged it so I understand where you're coming from.

I won't ask, but I completely disagree that the reasons don't matter. It seems to me the reasons are all that matter. It's hard to imagine good reasons to return if neither of you really believe any more.
I love my wife, but there's no way I could pretend an entire belief system for her. I'd be miserable and in turn, so would she. What good is a relationship based on BS?
So, all I can say is good luck. You're going to need it.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
