Re: Kishapalooza Redux
Just wanted to drop a quick line to tell you how Kishapalooza is progressing. Just got done with an exciting lecture on Jaredite epistemology and myth at Aristo's in Salt Lake City. A small, but devoted group of Jaredite enthusiasts in attendance who received my lecture with enthusiasm and paid for a hearty lunch! The honorarium was most generous.
Now I am headed out to meet with the chairman of the magic, masonry & treasure digging at the Cassius extension branch. He and I are working on a project in which we plan to draw together the magical traditions of the American frontier and their ancient Jaredite precedents. Look out MI!
Quite a group is slotted for our evening repast after a day of profound intellectual explorations. There is still room in the Shiz Memorial Banqueting Hall for a few more adventurous souls. Don't miss out!

It was a real treat to meet you in person RockSlider. Thanks for making the effort to join us. It would be really interesting to sit down and chat more and I hope we can do so in the near future. In the meantime we can stand in mighty fear of the mysterious workings of a shaking hand in sacred places. May that fate never be ours!
