SOME ANSERED QUESTIONS
About Dr. Dahesh and Mormonism
DOCTOR DAHESH (1912-1984) was the miracle-working Prophet of Lebanon. He performed thousands of supernatural miracles such as raising the dead, turning water into wine, waking on water, making inanimate objects animated, making hundreds of minutely detailed prophecies (mostly to individuals) that were fulfilled in the minutest detail, speaking other languages he never studied fluently while overcome with the Spirit, and many hundreds of divine healings in which lepers, the blind, the lame, the deaf, the scarred, and the demon-possessed were healed instantly. Dr. Dahesh spent the last 19 years of His life living in New York City, and He died there in April of 1984. As far as we know, He never mentioned Joseph Smith or Mormonism. But He did leave us a body of teachings and Holy Books, and we can glean from this body of teachings, which is called “Daheshism”, and compare this was some popular Mormon beliefs.
THE GODHEAD: Mormonism teaches that there are trillions of Gods and Goddesses, but there are three Gods over our planet: Elohim, Jehovah, and the Holy Ghost. Elohim and Jehovah have resurrected bodies, but the Holy Ghost is still a Spirit-Man Who somehow reached exaltation without a mortal human probation.
Daheshism teaches that there is only One God, Allah, the Mind of the Cosmos. There are indeed trillions of “Holy Spirits” Who are basically our guardian angels. Each being has a Holy Spirit that dwells in them, and is their “Father in Heaven”. The Holy Spirits share in the Mind of God. Every sentient being is composed of ruh (spirit) and nafs (soul), and the ruh (spirit) in each sentient being is their Holy Spirit.
PRE-EXISTENCE: Mormonism teaches we are the good angels that fought against Lucifer, so we were cast out of heaven to enjoy mortal lives on earth as humans. Daheshism teaches WE are the fallen angels, cast out of heaven to be punished by having mortal lives in the material planets.
DINOSAURS: Mormonism teaches that this Earth was made from other earths, and that is why there are the bones of dinosaurs and other strange animals now extinct in our soil, but they never lived on this earth. Daheshism teaches that evolution is true, and that dinosaurs existed on this planet.
ADAM AND EVE: Mormonism teaches that Adam and Eve were the first human beings, and that they dwelt in Jackson County Missouri, and were the parents of all humans. Daheshism teaches that Adam was not the first human being, but Adam was Adapa, the priest of Eridu in Sumeria. He fell from a Heavenly planet to this planet. He lived for 930 Moons and had sons and daughters. He reincarnated as Ahyeh, king of Egypt, who married Khiyah, his grand-daughter, because she was “tempted” by the Cobra-crown, the symbol of the Wisdom of the Gods by which the Pharaohs ruled. Khiyah tempted Ahyeh with her “forbidden fruit” and her partook, which caused his own soul and the souls of all his descendants to “fall”. Adam had to return to this world as Jesus to “atone” for that “fall” which caused spiritual death in the Spirit-World. The Hebrew word for “rib” (tsela) can also mean “penis”. This is the meaning that Khiyah came from a “rib” of Adam: meaning she was one of his “seed” (descendants).
Jesus Christ: Mormonism views Jesus Christ as Jehovah in the flesh, the firstborn of Elohim and one of his wives. Elohim physically sired Jesus with Mary, his daughter-wife. Jesus is seen as the Savior of the World, whose suffering in Gethsemane and upon the Cross was an atonement for our sins. Daheshism views Jesus Christ as an incarnation of one of the Sayyals (spiritual fluids) of the Word of God, which is the Creative Force of the Cosmos. The Holy Spirit of Jesus is indeed Jehovah, who is not Allah, but a Holy Spirit. The conception of Jesus was by miracle. The Holy Spirits are not “men” and they have no bodies. They are Spirits, parts of the One Spirit like protons are “parts” of the Sun. Holy Spirits are not male nor female, and may be addressed as “Our Father in Heaven” or “Our Mother in Heaven” or “Our Parent in Heaven”. Jesus has reincarnated one time per century since the 1st century to the 20th century, when He was born as Saleem Moosa Achi in Jerusalem in 1912. Jesus will reincarnate again in the 21st century, and be born of a woman of Nazareth; probably around the year 2033 A.D. He will work many miracles, and gather disciples; one of whom will be killed and buried in Nazareth. Jesus will again die, and again be born in the 22nd, 23rd, and finally, for the last time on this planet, in the 24th century. Dr. Dahesh was Jesus in a previous incarnation. Dr. Dahesh was the 20th incarnation of the Word of God upon this planet; which explains why He had power over creation.
SALVATION: Mormonism teaches that “salvation” is of three kinds: Salvation from physical death which is Resurrection, Salvation from going to Hell in the Spirit-World, the place we dwell between death and the Resurrection, and Salvation from Damnation: meaning salvation from going to a lesser glory than the highest glory which is the celestial glory of the Celestial Kingdom. Mormonism teaches that all men and women will be Resurrected, but only those who accept Christ will go to Paradise in the Spirit-World, and only those who belong to the One True Church, and are faithful to that Church all of their lives, attending all meetings, receiving all rites and ordinances, paying tithing, going on missions, being faithful and obedient to Church leaders, will be saved from damnation; meaning they will inherit the celestial glory of the Celestial Kingdom and become literal “Gods” and “Goddesses”; creating their own planets and peopling those planets with their own spirit-children, for all eternity.
Daheshism also teaches that there are three types of Salvation:
*1 Salvation from spiritual-death. Because of Jesus’ death on the Cross, which reversed the effects of the Fall of Adam, all men and women become alive in the Spirit-World after death. After the Fall of Adam, and before the atonement of Christ, the dead were literally “dead” in the Spirit-World. They were completely unconscious. This salvation comes to all men and women because of Jesus’ shed blood.
*2 Salvation from the Hell-planets. We are fallen angels dwelling on a Hell-planet, where the rays of the Sun “burns” our skin, and where there is disease, deformity, injustice, separation of loved ones, famine, war, “demons” (socio-paths) who torment us. We continue to live mortal lives on Hell planets until we are “saved”. We are “saved” when all of the karma that is attached to our souls burns away, and karma is burned away by suffering (physical or mental) or good works. To achieve salvation from the Hell planets means to be “born above” on a Heavenly Planet; where there is no ageing, no disease, no deformity, no injustice, no war, no famine, and no death. To achieve this kind of salvation we must walk the Straight and Narrow Path, also called “The Way”. We must practice the Pure Religion, also known as the Good Religion: good thoughts, good words, good deeds. Through the practice of the Good Religion, and our own suffering, we will eventually burn away the karma that has attached to our souls, until our souls are “clean” from karma, and they may ascend to the Kingdom of Heaven; which are the Heavenly Planets. Dr. Dahesh explains what life is like on a number of Heavenly Planets in His book Paradise. The lower Heavenly planets are much like Earth, but far advanced in technology. The higher Heavenly Planets are where our own imagination creates things. In other words, we must only think of a thing, and that thing is created before us: whether it be a prior love, a pet, a situation that occurred in a previous life, etc. The perfect similitudes of all these things are created by our minds on the higher Heavenly Planets. There is no death on the higher Heavenly planets, but it is possible to “fall” from a Heavenly planet back to Earth. Then the process to regain the Kingdom of Heaven must begin again.
*3 Salvation from the Cosmos. The ultimate form of salvation is salvation from the Wheel of Rebirth, and from the Cosmos, and to reach Nirvana. This form of salvation is most difficult, and can only be achieved by a few of the most dedicated; such as Buddhist or Jain monks. One must become a eunuch to achieve this. The Buddha came to teach how to achieve Nirvana; as did others. Nirvana is not a planet, but is the “return” of the soul into the Mind of the Cosmos like a drop of rain water eventually returns to the ocean. Also called “Moksha”.
ETERNAL MARRIAGE: Mormons are taught that if they get sealed by a “Sealer” in a Mormon Temple, and are faithful to the Church all their lives, they will be married for all eternity. Daheshism teaches that the bonds of love we make with other souls in one life carry over to other lives. A mother in one life may be a sister in the next, children may be parents and parents children, and so forth. On the higher Heavenly Planets we may re-create perfect similitudes of prior loves, pets, anything we can imagine with our minds. We may live prior lives over again if we so choose, and even change the script of prior lives.
PRIESTHOOD: All Mormon males must have both orders of priesthood in order to get Celestial Glory. Daheshism teaches that a priesthood will be established consisting of “Fathers” and “Mothers” who perform certain rites, but most Daheshists will not be priests, and no priesthood is necessary to be “born above” on a Heavenly planet.
TEMPLES: Mormons must go through secret rites in order to enter into the Celestial Kingdom at the Resurrection. Daheshism will also have “temples” but these will not be places for secret rites. Rather, they will be places for marriage, divorce, baptism, and memorial, and also for spiritual retreats, spiritual education, and divine healings.
THE JUDGMENT: Mormons believe they will stand before Christ to be judged, usually if they obeyed Mormon leaders, attending meetings, did their Home Teaching, served Church callings, etc. Daheshism teaches that all men and women are judged solely according to our “works”; meaning how we treated other sentient beings, and absolutely nothing else. The Atheist who does more good works than the Christian or Muslim, will get a better reward in the World-to-Come than they will. We are not judged by what we believe, or what we do not believe, but solely according to our “works”. Our next life is our “Day of Judgment” for how we treated other sentient beings during our current life. The Law of Karma alone judges us.
THE SECOND COMING: Mormons believe that Jesus Christ will appear in the clouds, or a cloudy sky, with thousands of angels blowing trumpets, either over Jerusalem and/or Jackson County, Missouri, and come down to His Temple in Jackson County (or Jerusalem) and rule from there for 1000 years. Daheshism teaches that Jesus has “returned” one time per century from the 2nd century until now, and will incarnate the last time during the 24th century. Jesus will “come down from heaven” as He did the first time: via the womb of a woman. Dr. Dahesh was the 19th “return” of Jesus to this planet. Jesus said He was the Alpha and the Omega, the first and last letters of the Greek Alphabet, which has 24 letters. The meaning is that He is all the letters, from the first to the last. He is the “four and twenty elders” in the Book of Revelations (chatpers 5 and 11). He will come in the 24th century (2300s), born of a woman, but indeed establish a Kingdom on this planet. There is nothing in the writings of Dr. Dahesh as far as I know about Jackson County Missouri or any City of Zion.
JOSEPH SMITH: Mormonism teaches he was the greatest man who ever lived save Jesus Christ, the Prophet of the Restoration, and Brigham Young was his rightful successor. All men and women must confess Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God or they can't receive Celestial Glory. Daheshism has nothing to say about Joseph Smith, since Dr. Dahesh never wrote about him and nobody can remember that Dahesh mentioned him. Dahesh is remembered to have one said, "The Mormons are good people". He said that at a time when many people were saying the Mormons were racists. That is all he is remembered to have said about Mormons or Mormonism. In Daheshism, we are all judged by the Laws of Karma according to how we treat others and absolutely no other criteria; so believing or not believing in Joseph Smith has absolutely no bearing on what rewards or punishments we shall receive in the World-to-Come.
