Who the heck are the 7% that believe it is "morally acceptable" for unmarried adults to have sex together (with 13% saying it's "not a moral issue")?

Steamed milk and coffee. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
WoW is a more convenient way of self flagellation.

I'm guessing they fall in the 8% of the sample that rarely or never go to church (page 36 of the full report).

If 77% of the sample reported weekly church attendance, this is either not a representative sample, or a representative sample of Mormons will exaggerate church activity claims. I don't think I've ever been in a ward where 77% of the membership was active-- not even by a reporting standard that only requires monthly attendance.

Let's be very clear on this, the requirement (covenant) is to be willing to sacrifice everything that you have to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and for the establishment of Zion. There is no mention, in this covenant about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The oddest statistic is the 86% percent of Mormons who say that polygamy is morally wrong. The church still practices polygamy in the temples today. How do they reconcile this?

I am one of the 7%. :)

My father is gay. After my parents divorced, he entered into a marriage-like relationship with P. They cannot be legally married. I'm quite certain they have sex. What they're doing is no less moral than what my husband and I do. What they do is entirely different than 'hooking up,' which I am generally opposed to.

It's quite a bit more than half. Active membership is on a downward spiral.
