Beehive and Lion Sorority Houses Question
I've taken the tour of the Beehive and Lion Houses for the the celestial-wives of Brigham Young, but I was wondering about a few things (probably was looking at the rooms and didn't pay attention to what the tour guide said).
1. After Brigham Young died, did his wives remain in these houses?
2. Who were the last people to live in these houses and when did they leave?
Optional Curiosity
3. Did Brigham Young's favorite wife Amelia continue living in her mansion?
4. Who occupied his St. George home?
5. Did Brigham Young or his wives have any other residences?
Thanks to all scholars who may answer these questions.

According to Presidents of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints page,
1. _BY has never married
or
2. His marriage(s ???) were not significant event(s).
- From GAS to TSM (the monogamous' ones) there is an item listed in "LDS Home - Church History - History of the Church - Presidents of the Church [name] - Significant Events", their marriage (the name of the wife and the date)
- From _BY to HJG (the polygamous' ones) there is no such item.
- JS is an exception.
For example:

Moksha,
I visited the St George BY home. I recall there was a woman or two living there with him but I don't remember the names.

Moksha, Amelia's Palace or the Gardo House had some other function post BY. John Taylor lived in it and it figures in the history of polygamy denial as well. I think it served as offices for railroad magnates and a drug treatment center before being demolished in 1921:

That whichw as Brigham's and that which was the church's seemed to have been intimately intertwined. It seems to me that the church owned Brigham's homes. But I could be wrong.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Re: Beehive and Lion Sorority Houses Question
John Taylor and BY married most of Joseph Smith widows after Joseph Smith died. When BY died did other Church leaders marry his widows?
"Any over-ritualized religion since the dawn of time can make its priests say yes, we know, it is rotten, and hard luck, but just do as we say, keep at the ritual, stick it out, give us your money and you'll end up with the angels in heaven for evermore."

They were purchased with Church money so the Church probably owned them, but did all the Sister-Widows continue living in these houses? Since the houses were so close to the Temple, these domiciles may have been coveted by other Church leaders.
Thanks for the information Blixa.

Re: Beehive and Lion Sorority Houses Question
Th link Blixa posted was interesting. Seems that it was first given to Amelia Young and one other wife. It was then taken by the Church and given to President John Taylor, based on a prophecy by Heber C. Kimball that President Taylor would someday live in the the most expensive and luxurious house in Utah.

I thought I'd seen a photo of the Gardo House's destruction, but I can't find it this morning. Anyway, here is a good photo which shows its size and opulence relative to the Beehive and Lion houses across the street.
