I cannot overlook the timing of the "I'm a Mormon" campaign and Mitt's run for the presidency.

Am I the only one who thinks their is cooperation between the Romney campaign and LDS Inc.?

While I am sure all of the defenders (and why-me) do not see a connection, I am interested in objective view points.

I didn't think there was any question the two campaigns were linked. I assumed this all along and also assumed they coordinated in some way. I didn't think it was even a question.

You'd never be able to prove it and considering the way the Church thinks, this is not happening. But I can tell you that the Church relishes the thought of a Romney campaign and presidency as missionary opportunities.

mmmmm I don't know about that.. Unless he could somehow control the press and how they presented Mormonism.. So far the public awareness seems to have done more damage than good in terms of converts, at least in industrialized countries.
