Given that ever slippery notion of LDS "doctrine" or even teachings (everything difficult to explain is relegated to just 'talking as a man'--how convenient!), I appealed to the LDS baptism interview question list of what one is required to profess belief in order to be baptized, to become a member.

They are apparently the common denominator of the LDS.
