War In Heaven II
There is, at present, a fierce battle being waged in the heavens. It is of unearthly magnitude. It rages like the heated tempests of Pompeii. It is desperately suffocating to the onlookers. Heavenly Father is rallying back with His men in arms, like the sucking of a tsunami's wrath. His sword is glistening like the Crux of our night skies over Persepolis. He dashes it hither and to, leaving none to encouragement. All fear, all praise.
But lo, from the West we see the sunset holding with time. Time and Light are dancing on the ocean waves. We see color in the stirring glass. A great boom from Hephaistos announces the appearance of brilliant shards that burst forth into the air with hesperides swirling about like angry bees. Amidst the confusion, we find a sight that calms our head and unnerves our heart. It is the God of Athens, rising to confront the God of Zion. There She stands and there He awaits. Their eyes gazing forth from horizon to horizon.

Oh for shame, how the mortals put the blame on us gods, for they say evils come from us, but it is they, rather, who by their own recklessness win sorrow beyond what is given... Zeus (1178 BC)

Damn, the pic doesn't work. Once again, anticlamactic.

Athena with no feet? Somehow to my mind that is incomprehensible. Is this a new story entirely? I am not claiming definative knowlege of Athena appearances, yet I gather surely she would know how to make a stand.

zeezrom, are you developing a pilot to pitch to HBO? Sounds to me like some of the series that have popped up on HBO in the last 2 or 3 years.

Hey SP!
I never watch Hbo so I'm not sure...
I was in a dramatic mood last night. :)

A cross between Big Love and Game of Thrones, perhaps.
