Well, it's not quite a one way street.
Yes Mormon's believe that new stuff being added is a sign of God's one true Church.
We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.(LDS Articles of Faith)
Note: nothing new has been added since the First Prophet Joseph Smith was killed in a gun battle that resulted after he tried to cover up publication of his penchant for the ladies by destroying the presses of the 1800's equivalent of HELLO magazine.
It is also fair to say that Mormonism believes that old stuff being removed is also a sign of Gods true Church. See:
Removal of Priesthood Ban
Removal of doctrine of Polygamy
Removal of parts of the sacred Temple ordinances.
Note: removal of such things is also seen within Gods true Church as a sign of apostasy so it can be a little confusing for those members and investigators of a rational, logical, questioning disposition. See this example explaining why the Church was needed to be restored from the Church's manual explaining Gospel Principles.
After the Savior ascended into heaven, men changed the ordinances and doctrines that He and His Apostles had established.
