Ahhh...to go down memory lane is always a wonderful and moving experience. To go back in time to when I was much younger (2007) is a treat to be sure. I remember Bryan from the postmo site a year earlier. I kinda feel that we are brothers.

But yea, thanks for the memories and for digging this thread out of the hole. Many of my friends on this board have been with me for years now. It has been a real pleasure. I hope that you all feel the same.

Was it Official Church Doctrine, Officially Published in an Official Church Publication, that being the standard?

The anti-kitty chipper choppers are vapid Neo-Orthodox, and I don't care what the term means.

Not that it matters much but who knows left the ship a long time ago. Perhaps he changed his name because people were confusing him with me. But I think that he left the ship and moved on to brighter things.

It always amuses me when those who have flunked the test of tossing kittens into wood chippers, and for whom tossing kittens into wood chippers has not worked, think they understand tossing kittens into wood chippers better than those who continue to pass the tests of tossing kittens into wood chippers and for whom tossing kittens into wood chippers has worked.

Thanks, -Wade Englund

Wow. Incredible! A guy flexible enough to twist his legs into square knots....and strong enough to do finger stands. He must have some kinda golf swing.

What treasured words are to be stored up, yea, even wisdom, by our remembering such things. Some time ago, a letter was received by me from a widow in whose stake I had been a bishop. Even at that time, the stake consisted of 3,456 widows and myself. In that letter, words were written by this dear widow telling of a choice experience that was had by her, even:

"Since I am an old widow with nothing better to do, I wish to relate a choice experience I recently had. It was noted by our stake youth leaders that the many widows in our stake had way too many kittens than could reasonably be cared for. Our youth set a date when transportation would be provided for us and our excess kittens to the stake center, where wood chippers were set up. At the appointed hour, the youth from our stake drove us to the stake center, where we had a nice visit and then the kittens we did not particularly need or have the ability to care for were hurled into the running wood chippers. Mangled flesh and bits of fur were strewn behind these wood chippers, but our youth cleaned up everything and carefully bagged the remains for being taken to a local homeless shelter. Afterwards, we were treated to a choice program and given a choice of pie.

With wonderful youth like this standing ready to shred our unnecessary kittens into oblivion, I feel the Church is in good hands!"

As we strive to exemplify the teachings of the Master, even him who taught that not a kitten is shredded in a wood chipper but our Father in Heaven does not notice it, may we also render such service as these youth, even unto the hurling of kittens of righteousness unto the wood chippers of our souls.

P.S. Cat meat makes good Tamales, Enchiladas, Tacos, Menudo, and Carne-El-Gato also. Muey Bien!

It reminds me of one evening in Carthage, years ago, at a community theatre workshop. The director gave me an imaginary bunny rabbit, and asked me to do something with it. I went into a hysterical thing of "don't throw the bunny into the oven."
He looked at me, thinking "where the hell did that come from?"

Oh hell, let's those of us who are pro choice just come out and admit it, and let the games of pain and torture of fetuses begin. Especially those stuck in the wombs of 40ish women who have a high likelihood of having anomalies that will bring them no damned fun indeed.
