Smith isn't a Saint. It's questionable whether he's in purgatory or hell. Not someone we would pray to, though we can pray for his soul. (I'm thinking he needs more prayers than not.)

Kyrie eleison, Christe eleison.

However, back to the topic. Joseph was a good guy. He had to deal with a lot of crap in his life. I am sure that he often wondered why me? But he continued with what he was called to do. I am sure that he wished that the protestants would just leave him and the saints alone. But...that was not to be. Mormon history would be much different if the LDS would have been allowed to worship in peace. But then, so would Native American history. American history was written in blood and in intolerance. It created the united states.
I intend to lay a foundation that will revolutionize the whole world.

What good did he do for the people around him?
He either stole their wife/daughter, took their money or got them shot.

He had to deal with a lot of crap in his life.

Mostly brought upon him through his inability to control his penis

I think you'll find there are two types of Mormon History, one correlated, one truthful.

The LDS were allowed to worship in peace, they just weren't allowed to rip people off and boink their wives and daughters.

A visual metaphor is not appropriate. Perhaps an auditory reality is better. When I got hearing aids, I could understand more that was going on around me. I have been told that I am good at lipreading, which means that I had had a hearing loss for quite a while.

Alot of crap he brought on himself. Let's not forget that little detail shall we?

Yes, he continued doing what he was called to do. Scamming people until it caught up with him.

It had nothing to do with worship. Remember the printing press? Remember the failed bank? Remember marrying other mens wives?

Again, when does he, or any other Mormon take responsibilities for their actions?

Obviously, you don't.

Could you provide more then just simple assertions that are subjective and don't really mean anything. I know Joseph was a good guy in many ways, and not so good in others. This does nothing to show how he was innocent or guilty to some degree with the issue of this thread.
