Interesting to see DCP posting an Elizabeth Warren article that spews at best stereotypes and at worst thinly veiled racism about Native Americans.
Whatever appears to be against the Book of Mormon is going to be overturned at some time in the future. So we can be pretty open minded.-charity 3/7/07

"This man gave a million dollars to a Super PAC supporting Barack Obama. He is a foul-mouthed misogynist and an anti-religious bigot. The Obama campaign has accepted his money without complaint. He's the sort of man who makes Amerika great."
I'm glad to see that Daniel C. Peterson is vehemently opposed to treating women as inferiors and denigrating people's sincere religious beliefs.

Bond, you are good at satires. In the same vein as the email from Ted O'Connell to Elizabeth Warren, how about a return email from Academician Plato Moyle-Higbee from the Grove of Academe, Little Rock, Arkansas to Daniel C. Peterson concerning his status as a leading scholar?

I tried to post this on his blog but I was not part of the "team"
"Of course you pick the worst pic of Bill maher. I watch him on occassion and notice he often invites conservatives people on his panel. Unlike Bill O'Reilly he does not shout them down or cut them off. He has some really interesting people on his show, you are unlikly to see on Fox(Faux). The langauge grates on my years (not being a user of the FBomb). I am not sure he is a misogynist. Stewart and Colbert also use the same langauge. And I note that Stewart has a Mormon female comedian assistant who has a task of putting a bleep over Jon's FBombs. That LDS guy in Idaho who supports Romney and threatens any legal action against any of his critics. Maddow does an interesting piece on him.
You call Maher an antireligious bigot. There is plenty of evidence for bad things done in the name of religon. Recently a man was place on trial in the Hague for being part of the slaughter of Moslems in Serbia.Bill needs some research assistant to correct his information. He said BY said negroes were born to be slaves, rather BY said servants. LDS would have a haha moment with that.
You probably mention the good religion does. On a daily basis on the way to work I get stopped by young men and women asking me to sign up for Doctors without Borders, UN Childrens fund, Greenpeace. These are all nonreligios org doing charitable work. You probably see nothing wrong with O'Reilly and Hannity's actions because their world view matches yours"

Darth J quoting DCP wrote:"The Obama campaign has accepted his money without complaint."
It appears Dr. Peterson may need to do a bit of research into the federal election rules on PACs, paying particular attention to the words "independent" and "coordinate."
His own guy, Bishop Romney, has mentioned that if he tried to tell any PAC that supports him what to do he would end up in "the gray-bar hotel [nervous chuckle]."

Maher is a very filthy comedian and an outspoken atheist. DCP doesn't seem to like that atheism combined with a filthy comedic style and a desire to push buttons leads to filthy jokes at the expense of religion. Particularly Mormonism which has some pretty weird stuff if you aren't inoculated from a young age to see what many people seem as weird as the norm.

I thought some genealogist found some Indian ancestry in her ancestry. Anyway Scott Brown has made some nasty comments about if she posed like he did. ( Ageism, sexism)
