Stormy, I have not taken societal pressure to the extreme, the church has. Go get one of your educational and economic peers to come and join the church. Ah, but that cannot happen. They have zero societal pressure to believe our particular brand of nonsense. They have a have a healthy social community outside the church. Most members have to navigate their faith based decisions from within the Mormon culture, not from a comfortable position in a healthy social community outside the church.
