True enough. By virtue of my calling, I can sign into LDS.org and see more of that web site than you can. But it is published on paper and found in any temple.

I think it's marvelous to have it be made so clear that the thinking of certain reactionary Mormons is all about contrived, self-serving Pharisaical axioms and disingenuous word games. As opposed to, say, enlightenment, knowledge, understanding, or clarification.

Once you get beyond your contrived, self-serving, Pharisaical, and disingenuous anti Mormonism, you quite possibly will find enlightenment, knowledge, understanding, and clarification. Until then, you only see through a glass darkly and it will ever be so unless you humble yourself.

Sorry bcspace, but being 'published' means more than being secretly distributed to a select few individuals. If it hasn't been published to the membership of the Church then it isn't official doctrine - your words!

Part of the Temple ceremony involves the ladies completely veiling their faces, rendering them anonymous. However, recently Elder Cook has said:

One of your greatest protections against making bad choices is to not put on any mask of anonymity.

He goes on to talk about the perils of making oneself anonymous.

If you ever find yourself wanting {being required} to do so, please know it is a serious sign of danger and one of the adversary’s tools to get you to do something you should not do. One of the reasons we advise missionaries to dress conservatively and the elders to be clean shaven is so that there will be no question as to who they are and how they should act.

So why does part of the ceremony involve making the womenfolk anonymous?
