The title is about "light and knowledge".
- Whenever a poet or preacher, chief or wizard spouts gibberish, the human race spends centuries deciphering the message. - Umberto Eco
- To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin. - Cardinal Bellarmine at the trial of Galilei

Paul, did you ever serve in Reading?

Buggery is actually sodomy.

In fairness a lot of people that use it don't know the meaning. Kind of like 'sod off'.

I don't think Reading was in the London mission. I never even heard of it.

Wow. Bill-boy the school teacher just told me to go commit sodomy. Those BYU guys sure love the nasty stuff!

I feel bad for Peterson. Being fired/laid off/ or any type of career disruption is one of the most stressful things a person goes through in their lives. Having to go through it publicly makes it that much tougher. It seems like he has a lot of other things going on, and he will recover from this and I wish him luck.

One thing that concerns me is that he might feel offended by the treatment he has received from Bradford, and perhaps he might take offense at any GAs that were behind his dismissal. He must remember not to kick against the pricks, no matter how big of a prick Bradford is. I'm sure Bradford prayed about this decision, and it's what the Lord wants. Below is a link to a talk from Elder Bednar about not taking offense.

why me wrote:Dan's dismissal was a cowardly act. At least it should have been done with a personal call-in to the office and explained. And with a thank you to dan. Editors are changed all the times, usually because of a direction of policy. No problem. But the way this was done reeks of cruelty.

But such is life these days. It can be a cruel world and cruelty comes in places where it is least expected at times.

He got what was coming to him. He got treated like he treats/treated others....like crap.

I love all of this, because now the mo's are using the persecution card against each other.

Who'd a thunk it?

Reading is absolutely in the England London mission.

I stand corrected, chastised, humbled and repentant. Sorry Paul.
I guess I could also be wrong in thinking the King in Facsimilie 3 is called Norbert...
