I doubt Daniel has any genuine friends. He is like a cop --most cops cannot be friends with regular citizens because everyone is a potential suspect.

If it were Elder Packer they were crossing, I think there is little doubt that there would be Church discipline on the horizon. As things stand, the kind of guys who made this happen will probably just shake their heads, move on to the real business of the day, and leave these fellows to stew in their own juices.

While that sounds cold, it is probably true. I completely understand why these FARMS guys are terribly upset. And I think they are lucky that no one they have crossed is likely to chase them out of the Church. When things settle down, I have a feeling everyone will be just fine.
