I suppose I don't understand the reason some seem so celebratory here about the current events.
in my opinion, the kettle drum many of the posters here try and beat upon is gone and I don't expect any replacement from MI being proffered at any future point.
So what is the advantage in that really?

Watching the Mormons at MADB criticize the Mormon hierarchy for firing their Ph.D apologetic gurus gives me the lolz.

Hey, Mudcat-
Good to see you. For those of us who have sparred with Dr. Peterson for some time, this was a big event. People like to talk about events that strike them as noteworthy. And, yes, some folks are very pleased by the news. I have mixed feelings, but I still consider it big news. Furthermore, as some point out, the impact of the decision continues to send ripples across the surface of the pond of apologetics, some of which are rather surprising.
I hope that helps you understand.
All best,
K

Let me tell you what I think. The real victim in this whole story is Bradford. He's taking quite a hit and a lot of insult for something he did in private between himself and a fellow employee. Those hypocritical jack-asses that are bad mouthing him will be rebuked. DCP is the offender, not Bradford. The GA's will stand by their man.
