Every church omits something in their history. As does every country.
It still does not make it right, and they did not find a negative to to resign, but a positive way. No one is forcing anyone to pay attention to them. Why are you always making excuses and just admit to wrong doing by the church when it's there. You might start to get some credibility back.
I don't think the people who resign agree with your opinion, same with those who chose not to join the LDS church, for these people the LDS church has more negatives than positives.
