Why did the church teach me to shield my children from some adult material but not other adult material?
They never told me to shield them from:
1. Satan and his evil deeds
2. Violence depicted in the Book of Mormon
3. Violent nature of the crucifixion, as depicted in movies

How about the Bible? If it was "written by God" then I consider the whole Old Testament to be a confession to the crimes of mass murder and genocide.
Whatever appears to be against the Book of Mormon is going to be overturned at some time in the future. So we can be pretty open minded.-charity 3/7/07
