I sincerely hope this isn't a hasty generalization. I know many wonderful Christians who are not at all like you describe and some of them identify as gay or lesbian or bisexual.

I do hope that this was simply an emotionally charged response to a very transparent ignoramus.

Valentinus: Since you are new, I'll warn you that Paul says stuff like this (and frequently worse) all the time. He's been through a lot in his life, and he seems to have a real hatred for the church and religion in general. I tend to ignore him for the most part.
