Those people are wrong. Romney is not a tare.

The point is not whether or not the criticism is true it's simply that if the criticism was leveled at Mormonism they would try to label it as anti-Mormonism.

Stormy Waters, is there something wrong with one wanting to be who God wants that one to be?

The problem I see if the idea that people can be pruned to try to shape them into the people that the church wants them to be. For example taking Gay people and trying to prune them into straight people. Taking young people and pushing them to get married quickly. Taking young women, and encouraging them to have children before finishing their education. It's about taking people and trying to force them into a mold or a certain lifestyle. My problem obviously is that I don't think God has anything to do with it. It's about the church pushing people to do what is best for the organization.
