I just purchased a growler of porter and asked a couple of friends to share it with me on the back porch. I went on a long mtn bike ride with my two older kids this morning. The sun is shining and the world is beautiful. I never tuned in to conference. It feels good. Some people might feel negatively about my lack of participation, but I don't care because I feel my actions are for the best today.
I just got a phone message from my dad. With conference fresh on his mind, I suspect it will go a little more strained than usual.
