LDS to members: Stop being stingy with dead non-lds family

Some Church members have large numbers of family names reserved so they can personally attend to the temple work.

We encourage them to release these names in a timely manner so the necessary ordinances can be performed.

Apparently some members rustle up a big fat list of dead non Mormon relatives which they keep to themselves until they decide to do their necro temple work.

LDS Inc does not like this. Why? Because the dead non Mormons are pissed off!

Many names have been reserved for years. Ancestors who have been found are no doubt anxious and thrilled when their names are cleared for ordinances. They, however, may not be very happy when they have to continue to wait for their ordinances to be performed

Nope, Mormons aren't WIERD. They just believe that dead people are pissed off when they have to wait longer to be redeemed by a Mormon mortal.

Whats a few more earth years(supposed heaven minutes) for these imprisoned non Mormon spirits?

Or perhaps the necro list has run short ever since the Jews got stingy with their holocaust dead?

Either way, it is pathetic.

What is the evidence that there are pissed-off dead nevermos waiting for their names to be cleared by their current Mormon progeny so that they can be posthumously admitted to the Mormon church? Is someone just shooting from the hip?
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

Naah. These people are appearing in the temple to complain. If you can't see them, that proves you have lost the Spirit because you are addicted to porn.

That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

You've only been able to reserve names since the rollout of the New Familysearch website (2 years???).

Plus, all you have to do is re-enter the name with a slight variation and Voila! you can submit the person yourself.

Easy peasy.

It's not because dead people are mad. It is because some temples are running low on name pool.
