I hate to disagree, but in my view none of these gentlemen deserve "slack" in this matter. They got exactly what they deserved in all of this: booted out the door of Maxwell Institute. This whole affair shows exactly how rottenly they were behaving. I hold it as a strike against any of the participants or their defenders among the apologists, including Wiki Wonka. He should know better, but he has let his partisanship get the best of him.
