A very very poor taste troll job.

I hate to ever respond to a troll, but I do think it's worth pointing out that none of us are witnesses to anything that happened to McKenna in the basement of the MTC so many years ago. We have no idea. Taking any strong position on what occurred or did not occur during a single event one did not personally witness seems foolish to me.

I can say the above and still support McKenna. I can say the above and still know where I stand on people with authority and power taking sexual advantage of people less powerful than themselves

While I don't know what happened because I wasn't there, I certainly know it's possible that the rape happened and that discrediting victims is an old game played by many. How do I know she wasn't discredited after other true accusations as well? I have zero idea what really happened in her life. It's not uncommon for the same people to be victimized again and again because perpetrators target the vulnerable.

Anyway, it's really poor taste peacemaker.

If you can tell me the name of the king written in the writing of Facsimile No. 3 then I will admit that McKenna is lying if it makes you feel any better.

Sounds like a deal. The name is Hathor. I believe in the catalyst theory of the Book of Abraham.

I asked for a king's name, not the name of a goddess or that of a woman who lived in mythical Egyptian times predating even predynastic Egypt -- long before Abraham or even Adam.

The name Hathor is not in the writing as so often demonstrated in Egyptian tombs, monuments, and funerary vignettes.

Try again.

McKenna Denson told Bro. Leavitt that Joseph Bishop took her and another sister "down to the basement and showed them some pornography". Leavitt states that Denson did not use the words rape or attempted rape. McKenna Denson's 1985 account is consistent with Joseph Bishop's account.

Making a false police report is a serious felony. You are supporting a false rape accuser.

Here's the thing: I don't know that, and neither do you.

Rosebud and others have no problem supporting a false rape accuser.

You don't know she's a false rape accuser any more than I do. I'm agnostic as to the veracity of her claims against Bishop. As others have noted, he definitely has some problems with his sexual behavior, but there's no way to say categorically that he did or did not rape McKenna Denson back in January 1984 when I, like her, was a newly minted missionary in the MTC.

Oh, by the way, in case you don't know, Joseph Smith didn't believe in a catalyst theory. He taught and expounded on a literal translation and interpretation. So also did his associates that were involved with the production of the Book of Abraham. All this is documented in the church historical records and other sources.

You, peacemaker, are a catalyst apostate. Joseph Smith rebukes you.

The catalyst theory is just an ad hoc excuse for Joseph Smith not knowing what he was talking about.
