Another Mormonism Live! Home Run

I want to congratulate Bill Reel and RFM for another amazing Mormonism Live! last evening. When I tuned in, there was an intense discussion, highly detailed with excellent use of primary source material, of the watches that Joseph Smith gave his plural wives. You also got to see the watches and listen to analysis of how the watches are misrepresented by modern LDS history enthusiasts. Dan Vogel was throwing obscure references to these watches, drawn from a variety of sources, into the chat in real time as the conversation was happening.

Seriously, if you are not watching Mormonism Live! and The Backyard Professor, you are missing some of the finest opportunities to learn more about Mormon history and doctrine. In addition to the penetrating questions and in-depth knowledge of the hosts of the shows, they have fascinating guests and, drum roll, please, Dan Vogel is often present in one capacity or another. And he always adds insights and evidence of great value when he is there.

Seriously. Take the time. Do it. Support these podcasts/videocasts. They are fantastic.
