For years, Wayne has perpetuated the tale of Chief Joseph (Nez Perce) having a stone tablet in his medicine pouch, handed down through the generations, that dates back to the ancient Middle East.
A few months ago, a brilliant young professor in Sweden, who specializes in archaeology of the ancient Middle East, published a study of this claim, conclusively showing that it was not in Chief Joseph's possession, where it came from and when.
