The Church has commissioned a spin piece biography of Joseph Smith

I like the title, but it is missing some punctuation.

It should be:

Joseph, the Prophet?

Following the exposés of the Joseph Smith Papers, the Brethren obviously feel a need to try and salvage Joseph Smiths reputation as a Prophet. Why not commission a book about Nelson’s revelations and prophecies? It’s far more relevant.

Because Nelson is too close historically. He has had none, and it would be obvious. With Joseph they can fake it til they make it - make it up that is.
