In the real world I prefer to be invisible. I'm more open and talkative on here because I can't be seen. Could Joseph Smith have been a bit of a narcissist?

Many have pointed out that in the last few years, everyone has started using narcissist as a blanket insult. We’ve all become armchair psychologists and anyone we disagree with who has the ability to speak in public to a large audience must be a narcissist.

With that caveat, I can’t imagine a much more narcissistic figure. Not only did he happen to become leader of God’s only true church on earth, he ran for President, married other men’s wives, stated that he has done more save Jesus Christ himself… that pompous Napoleonic portrait of General Joseph Smith, I mean come on!

The only way it couldn’t be narcissism is if he really was chosen by God to do all these things.
