One of my home teaching families was very good at pretending. Their divorce came as a complete surprise. Of course the home teaching was useless to prevent it, because it’s just a superficial pretense of caring and friendship.

But wait... WAIT......WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIT!!!!! The Cookies and milk, the cookies and milk! The Green jello? Is NOTHING real anymore?!

His review was ultimately a caricature of the book, even with the pretense of having "no bias".

Like any wisdom it requires humility to gain.

Humility, honor, and hope are better keys of discovery.

Probably aimed at a bit of humor
Hinting at a comparison to infancy gospel in a positive light can only be humor. That infancy gospel is much better candidate for worst religious text. Well bad silly surprises in the infancy gospel is at least a suprise which could be thought of a positive.
