More Problems at Interpreter? Has Martin Tanner Been "Canceled"?

On a related topic, has anyone here seen any of the Interpreter video shorts featuring Br’er Rasmussen? Did the Proprietor approve them?

It's further confirmation that Interpreter prefers quantity over quality. I think the format favours Rasmussen because he can make baseless assertions without facilitating discussion of those assertions. I saw one where he asserted that the content of The Book of Mormon cannot possibly be anything other than ancient because <blah blah blah>. That's just a nonsense statement that is not only untrue, it's obviously untrue.

Huh. That is an interesting comment, Dr. Robbers, though I admit that I'm not sure that I'm following your line of thought.... Are you perhaps referencing the North Korean leader's treatise, On the Art of the Cinema? If so, then sure: I can see some similarities. It's a case of someone trying to promote a kind of cinematic idealism within a totalitarian/isolationist context. But a key difference, of course, is that Kim Jong Il was all about (to quote from the wiki entry) "the question of a good and worthy life," but the Interpreter films are really more just about fulfilling selfish desires for the Afore.
