Agreed entirely. If there are Mormons who side with Bondi, they obviously don't realize she and Trump are enemies #1 against freedom for missionaries to go out into the world. It's astonishing ANY Mormon would side with Trump, but also accept Bondi? Good Lord I now feel it incumbent upon me to PRAY with all my heart for those Mormons that the Holy Spirit (FOR REAL) will at least begin to guide them for crying out loud.

Can you honestly be a staunch MAGA Trump supporter and believer, and also be a temple recommend holder? I ask on the basis that MAGA/Trump seems quite a long way removed from Christian values.

There were ca. six hundred Nazi Mormons in WWII (Branch President Arthur Zander was one), so I should think that these folks will not find their temple recommend in jeopardy.

It's been a few decades now, but I don't remember a temple recommend question being whether you follow and act upon your own conscience. In fact, as I remember the questions, they did not include whether you follow the 2nd Great Commandment to love thy neighbor as you love yourself. So, no, there should be no impediment to MAGA Mormons getting temple recommends as long as they can answer a few pointed questions about belief in Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon, and the LDS Church--and about being a full tithe payer.
