revelationAI will eventually be had by the octogenarian or nonagenarian in charge and there will be one vicarious ordinance in the Temple of baptism for all (probably in the SLC Temple and the prophet will be the one baptized) and then every temple in the world will be left as meditation castles for the Mormons.

And Mormons will praise it as the will of the Lord with as much fervor as they deny it now as implausible.

Brothers and Sisters, we have the words of The Prophet.

So let it be written. So let it be done.

Nah, it's just dumb busy work to keep the cultists paying, praying, and obeying.
Maybe not so dumb? What's so dumb about paying tithing, praying to God, and obeying His commandments?

Hey, MG. God told me what he has planned for you. He wants you to ride a unicycle with a clown costume around your neighborhood every afternoon from 3 to 3:30 pm. Oh, and He said he has more instructions for you, that He will tell me in the future. So stay tuned. Finally, He did say He wants you to send me 20% of your increase. Let me know and I'll give you my Venmo identification so you can start paying that 20% right away?

See, MG 2.0, nothing dumb about it, is there?

I made a comment quite some time ago about Nelson eating his successors lunch on temple announcements. He was keen to be the President with the most announcements to his name. And so he brought forward announcements, even to the point where he started announcing temple "intentions" before any serious research or discussion had been had. Russia would be an example of that. Now that he has passed normal announcement protocols can be resumed.

A point worth making is that the prolific temple announcements under Nelson was lauded as a sign of the Church's growth. So are those same people now remarking that the Church has stopped growing? Probably not.
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

Yea. Taking a walk on the stupid path, let's look at Mormonism now. God wants you to go to the temple and don those ridiculous baker's hats and aprons? The "Brethren"--men--promise God will give them more important messages for you. And it's only 10% rather than 20%. Oh, so much less stupid than riding a unicycle with a clown costume around your neighborhood every afternoon from 3 to 3:30 pm.

Has “snore…” replaced “TTOC”, or does it serve an entirely different purpose?

In Jeopardy response fashion, "what is the sound Oaks makes when the 14 pretenders meet in the SLC temple on Tuesdays?"
